Cassidy Bouknight is a Research & Development Intern at Elastrin Therapeutics Inc. since January 2023, and has previously contributed to the Senior Capstone Design Project at Clemson University Bioengineering from August 2021 to May 2022, focusing on medical device design. Cassidy also served as a Research Scholar at the Medical University of South Carolina in May 2021, conducting electrochemistry tests on CoCrMoW metals used in orthopedic implants. Education includes a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Clemson University (August 2022 - May 2023) and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Clemson University (August 2019 - May 2022), along with dual credit and dual enrollment engineering courses from Coker University and Clemson University.
