Sameer Chawnekar

Sameer Chawnekar has a diverse work experience. Sameer worked as the Head of Information Technology Department at Sequent Scientific Limited from April 2023. Prior to that, they were an Assistant General Manager - SAP/IT at FDC Limited for over 7 years. At FDC Limited, they managed various project management tasks and provided project milestones and metrics to stakeholders. Before that, they worked as a Sr SAP Consultant at Parag Milk Foods, where they led IT infrastructure setup and SAP landscape setup. Sameer also has experience as a Technical Specialist - IT at Ingenia Polymers, where they managed a team for SAP Frontend configuration and WAN connectivity. Sameer Chawnekar also worked as an Asst General Manager - SAP at Arch Pharmalabs, Ltd. with a focus on high availability architecture and implementation of SRM. Earlier in their career, they were an Assistant Manager - SAP Basis/Netweaver at K Raheja Corp, where they were responsible for infrastructure setup, installation, and server procurement. Sameer started their career as an IT - Systems Engineer (SAP Consultant - ABAP) at CMC LTD, where they led various IT infrastructure and networking projects for clients.

Sameer Chawnekar completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) from 1997 to 2001. Sameer then pursued a Master in Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Administration, Management and Operations from the Institute For Technology and Management between 2007 and 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Sameer Chawnekar also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2022.
