Joseph Kiniry

Joseph Kiniry is an accomplished expert in computer science and information security, serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Sequent Tech since September 2021. Joseph has held the position of Principled CEO and Chief Scientist at Free & Fair since March 2016 and has been a Principal Scientist at Galois, Inc. since January 2014. As the Owner of KindSoftware since 2000, Joseph provides high-level IT consultancy focused on applied formal methods and information security for critical systems. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at Formaltech Inc., Professor and Head of the Software Engineering Section at the Technical University of Denmark, and Lecturer at University College Dublin. Joseph's educational background includes a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from Caltech, along with two MSc degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a dual BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from Florida State University.
