Aaron Thiel

Aaron Thiel has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Aaron is currently the VP of Virtual Production at Sequin AR. Prior to that, they worked at The Future Group AS as a Special Projects Engineer, where they focused on creating cross-reality content using the Pixotope engine. Aaron also served as the Associate Director of Information Technology - Advanced R&D at Disney Streaming Services. Before that, they had a long tenure at ESPN, holding various positions such as Assoc. Director of Information Technology, Manager of Information Technology, and Information Technology Team Lead. Aaron also worked as an Information Technology Team Lead at Edge Technology Services and as a Software Engineering Consultant at Maxim Consulting, Inc. Aaron began their career at Anthem as an intern, assisting in the development of Excel spreadsheets. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in the fields of technology, virtual production, and cross-reality content creation.

Aaron Thiel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems from Marquette University between 1991 and 1996. Prior to this, they also completed a BBA degree in an unspecified field of study from Texas A&M University in 1932.
