Carter Pedersen

Carter Pedersen is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Founding Engineer at Sequin since March 2023, Carter previously excelled as Software Engineering Manager at Blitz from October 2018 to March 2023, where significant improvements were made to backend system availability. Carter co-founded Bloom in early 2018, focused on personal growth and lifestyle guidance. As Software Lead at ELFIN Satellite from April 2015 to September 2017, management of a ten-member team was undertaken to develop critical flight and ground support software for a CubeSat mission funded by JPL and NSF. In addition, Carter achieved victory in the 2017 UCLA Aerospace Engineering capstone competition with the Space Queen project, which set a record altitude for the program. Early experience includes software development at Mobile Analytics in 2014, working on health apps for Android and iOS platforms. Carter earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA in 2017.
