Most projects don't fail because the idea is bad. They fail because the people affected never got behind them.

We help organisations win that support. It's called social licence: the backing you need from communities, funders and the public before difficult work can happen.

Sequoia works with teams in climate, culture and community. Usually the work is complicated or sensitive, and the hard part is bringing people with you.

We've done it where it counts. McConnell's Distillery went from a construction site to an award-winning destination in 12 weeks. The MAC in Belfast grew its own income by 72% and became a place the city treats as its own. Right now we're building support for UNTOLD, a £13.6m heritage project telling a story people don't agree on.

We've spent decades doing this: strategy, engagement, fundraising, marketing and storytelling. We help you get clear on what you're doing and who needs to be on side, then say it in a way people understand and trust.

If you're leading something that needs people behind it, get in touch.
