Matt Heiman

Matt Heiman is the Head of Corporate Development at Mercury, where responsibilities include leading M&A, investor relations, fundraising, and special projects, notably acquiring Teal and raising a $300M Series C round, led by Sequoia Capital. Previously, Matt served as a Managing Director and Co-Founder at Vetamer Capital Management, where notable investments included Airwallex and Coinbase, and as a Partner at CRV, focusing on early-stage tech startups. Matt's experience also includes an investor role at Greylock Partners and an earlier tenure as a private equity and growth investor at Lee Equity Partners, alongside consulting experience at McKinsey & Company. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Columbia University.
