Maxime Brousse is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in founding and advising innovative companies. As the Co-Founder of Selency since September 2014, Maxime has been instrumental in establishing Europe's first curated marketplace for pre-owned furniture and home decor, supported by prestigious investors such as Creadev, Accel, and Naspers. Maxime also serves as a Sequoia Capital Scout, assisting a new generation of disruptive founders and investing in over 50 startups since March 2021. In addition, Maxime advises Les Petits Culottés, a market leader in the children's diaper sector, and has held various roles in business development and analysis in earlier career stages, including experience with Ardian and Réseau Entreprendre Paris. With a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from EDHEC Business School, Maxime's entrepreneurial journey began with the co-founding of an ethical microfinance initiative that spanned 20,000 km across 35 countries.
