Tim Sadler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and finance. Currently serving as the Group Vice President & General Manager at Proofpoint since January 2024, Tim previously co-founded and led Tessian as CEO until its acquisition by Proofpoint. Tim has also been involved in early-stage investments as a Sequoia Capital Scout since May 2020 and serves as a Limited Partner at firedrop. Earlier roles include a Global Banking Analyst at HSBC Global Banking & Markets, where Tim managed client portfolios and contributed to major financial transactions. Tim’s technical background includes positions as a Research & Development Engineer at GE and Trac Group Limited. Tim holds multiple advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Innovation Design Engineering from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
