Helena Sutherland

Helena Sutherland is a Senior Planning Engineer specializing in dams and weirs at Seqwater since February 2014, where responsibilities have included significant projects like the dam safety upgrade at Ewen Maddock Dam and various risk assessments and design reviews for critical infrastructure. Helena has also served as the Young Professional QLD Representative for ANCOLD, facilitating networking events to enhance knowledge among young professionals in the field. Previous experience includes an engineering secondment at GHD, contributing to the North Pine Dam Stability and Risk Review, and a vacation engineering role at LinkWater. Helena holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Geo-technical Engineering from The University of Queensland, as well as a Certificate IV in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Management.
