Mark Smith is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil and hydraulic engineering. As a Senior Planning Engineer at Seqwater since August 2015, Mark has played a key role in the South West Pipeline Business Case, leading to the connection of Beaudesert to the Seqwater Bulk Water Supply Grid. Prior to this, Mark served as a Senior Civil Engineer at MWH Global from June 2001 to June 2015, where responsibilities included the design of pumping stations and sewer networks, as well as involvement in significant projects like the Roy Hill Feasibility Study. Mark's career also includes positions as a Project Engineer at Bechtel Corporation and Wirral Borough Council, focusing on complex engineering designs and coordination. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering from The University of Salford.
