The group was founded in Venezuela in 1975 and later expanded across Latin America. Sera Scandia A/S became the holding company in 1992 and today holds subsidiaries in Latin America, U.S.A. and Europe, making it a leading supplier of animal sera for cell culture and natural ingredients for nutrition.
