Austin Aerts

Austin Aerts started their work experience in 2008 as a Lead Teller at Wells Fargo. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at the University of Utah. In 2011, they also had an internship at EY. Aerts then joined Ernst & Young in 2012 as an Assurance Senior until 2015. Austin worked as an Accounting Manager at Myriad Genetics from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, they had various roles at Sera Prognostics, including Assistant Controller, Director of Finance and Accounting, Senior Director Finance & Corporate Controller, and currently holds the position of Vice President, Corporate Controller.

Austin Aerts obtained their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, which they attended from 2008 to 2011. Austin then pursued further education at the same institution, earning a Master of Accounting with a focus on Audit/Financial from 2011 to 2012. Austin also holds the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Utah.
