Jennifer Logan

Jennifer Logan has a diverse work experience in the field of medical and scientific writing and communications. Jennifer is currently employed as a Senior Medical Writer at Sera Prognostics since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Medical, Scientific, Technical Writer and Editor / Project Consultant at Jennifer Logan PhD, LLC from 2014 onwards, where they utilized their extensive experience in biomedical and molecular research to help clients convey scientific content effectively.

From 2017 to 2020, Jennifer worked as a Medical Writer at Myriad Genetics. Before that, they served as the Program Director of Personalized Health Care at the University of Utah Health Sciences from 2008 to 2014. In this role, they played a vital role in establishing the interdisciplinary Program in Personalized Health Care and overseeing research, clinical, and educational programs.

Jennifer Logan also worked as the Communications Director and Strategic Communications Manager at The Brain Institute at the University of Utah from 2004 to 2008. Jennifer Logan has a strong educational background in both journalism and biology. Jennifer completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington from 1987 to 1992. Jennifer then pursued further studies at the University of Utah, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from 1992 to 1999. Following their Ph.D., Jennifer took on a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Utah's Huntsman Cancer Institute, specializing in Oncological Sciences.
