Denis Margine

Denis Margine has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Denis started their career as a Software Technician at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, where they gained experience in developing real-world application software and played a key role in migrating the college's IT assets.

Denis then joined the college as a Research Assistant, where they worked on R&D projects focused on developing a UX/UI framework for a digital kiosk to be used in medical offices.

Denis's next role was at BlackBerry, where they initially worked as a Software Application Developer intern. Here, they were responsible for building and maintaining internal diagnostic tools for BlackBerry devices. Denis then joined a team of software engineers working on the BlackBerry 10 SDK, where they developed new APIs and maintained existing ones, gaining expertise in C++, Qt, and QML.

In 2013, Denis joined Asset Science LLC as a Software Developer, where they became the main developer of the company's BlackBerry Virtual Expert application. Denis also supported the iOS team in developing the iOS equivalent.

Currently, Denis is working at Sera4 as a Senior Software Developer. Denis joined as the second employee and played a crucial role in architecting and developing the Teleporte mobile application. The goal was to create a Bluetooth LE enabled access control system that enhances security, operational efficiency, and provides precise audit tools for administrators.

Denis Margine pursued their education chronologically with an Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering Technology at Conestoga College from 2009 to 2013. After completing this program, Denis went on to study International Economics, aiming for a Bachelor's degree at Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova.
