Isaac Melick

Isaac Melick has three years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as an Engineer I, MSAT at Serán Bioscience, LLC, where they developed and managed system lifecycle documentation, assisted with the generation and maintenance of SOPs and supporting documents, and performed investigations, CAPAs, change requests, and engineering projects. In 2020, they began working as a Process Engineer at PeytriaRx Engineering, where they improved the efficiency, quality, and safety of production of botanical extracts by supporting the development of GMP infrastructure from documentation to facility design, utilized programming techniques in MATLAB to increase distillation throughput, and developed SOPs, performed PHAs, and wrote protocols. In 2019, they were a Bio-Medical Engineering Society Design Team Member at Oregon State University, where they designed a heat management system for bench-top bioreactor through utilization of solid works and knowledge of heat transfer mechanisms, and collaborated with a cross-functional engineering team to troubleshoot issues related to bioreactor design, cost, and ease of use.

Isaac Melick attended Oregon State University from 2017 to 2021, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering.
