Mark Kastantin

Mark Kastantin has a wealth of work experience. Mark began their career in 2009 as an Assistant Research Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Lonza as a Manager and Principal Engineer of Early Stage Process Development and Senior Research Chemical Engineer. In 2019, they took on two roles, as Senior Director of Process Engineering and Head of Innovations Research at Serán Bioscience, LLC, and as an Instructor at Oregon State University-Cascades.

Mark Kastantin received a Bachelor of Science in both Chemical Engineering and Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2003. Mark then went on to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, which they completed in 2008.
