Spencer Smith

Spencer Smith has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. From 2008-2011 they worked as a Warehouse Worker at Agway. From 2011-2013 they worked as a Maintenance employee at the YMCA of the USA. From 2013-2016 they worked at Dymax Corporation in two roles, Chemical Reactor Operator/Reactor Operator II and Chemical Operations Material Handler. In 2016 they became an Application Engineer Lab Tech at Dymax Corporation. From 2017-2020 they worked as a Field Application Specialist at Central Oregon Greenhouse Supply. Since 2020 they have been an Operations Specialist II at Lonza.

Spencer Smith attended Northwestern Connecticut Community College from 2011 to 2016, earning an Associate's Degree in Environmental Science. Spencer then went on to Oregon State University, where they are currently studying for a Bachelor of Science in Energy & Industrial Systems Engineering, expected to be completed in 2024. In addition, Spencer has obtained two certifications: RCRA Hazardous Waste Handling and Disposal from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in August 2015, and IATA, 49CFR, IMDG certificates from Dangerous Goods International in 2015.
