Clayton Schaefer is a Command and Control (C2) expert with over 20 years of leadership experience in the United States Air Force. Currently serving as the Senior Manager and Commander at the 601 Air Operations Center, Clayton has held roles of increasing responsibility in various strategic capacities, including Chief of the Combat Operations Division and the Strategy Division. A graduate of the University of South Dakota with a BA in Political Science, Clayton has successfully developed and implemented Test and Evaluation projects for C4ISR weapons systems, showcasing a strategic vision and sound judgment throughout their career. Clayton is set to retire in June 2025.
