Colin Cain is an accomplished maritime engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering (Maritime) at Serco since September 2023, Colin previously held positions such as Technical Director at BMT Specialised Ship Design and Technical Director for Ballast Water Management Systems at Wärtsilä. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Colin has demonstrated expertise in the design and project management of military and commercial vessels, playing key roles in numerous high-profile projects. Colin holds a PhD in Design for Safety of Small Craft from Newcastle University, complemented by an MEng in Marine Technology.
