David Barker currently serves as the Head of Quality and Clinical Standards for Health Assessment Advisory Services at Serco, overseeing the clinical delivery of disability assessments for the DWP and ensuring quality and safety. Prior to this role, David spent several years at Capita, advancing from Clinical Governance Lead to Head of Clinical Services, where notable achievements included leading the development of the disablement assessment for the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme and managing clinical governance across UK operations. David's extensive experience in physiotherapy includes roles as an Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Specialist in various organizations, including ARCHES PHYSIOTHERAPY LIMITED and Ealing Physiotherapy. David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy and a Practitioner certification in Management of Risk from Axelos.
