David Mathison

David Mathison is the Head of Portfolio Management at Serco, responsible for leading project delivery involving HMO conversions, property refurbishments, and void/disrepair management while managing relationships with sub-contracted accommodation providers. With a strong background that includes roles such as Portfolio Manager and HMO Licencing Coordinator, David has ensured compliance with leasing regulations, managed budgets for over 8,500 properties, and optimized the use of a diverse property portfolio. Previous experience includes serving as a Personal Advisor at the Department for Work and Pensions, where David focused on helping jobseekers secure sustainable employment. David holds a BA Hons in Fine Art with Media from Liverpool Hope University.
