Derek Batts

Derek Batts, CISSP, is currently the Cyber Security Manager at Serco, having previously held roles at Northrop Grumman, where they served as Cyber Information Systems Security and Cyber Security Administrator from 2017 to 2021. Derek's extensive experience includes implementing information security programs, managing infrastructure for essential tools, and leading teams in various cyber security initiatives. With a foundational background in systems engineering from General Dynamics Information Technology, they have developed a strong proficiency in addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with security standards. Derek is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Grambling State University.
