Gareth Slater

Gareth Slater is an accomplished finance and commercial leader with extensive experience in the justice and immigration sectors, currently serving as Finance and Commercial Director at Serco since February 2022. Prior roles at Serco include Head of Commercial for Justice & Immigration and Citizen Services and Senior Commercial Manager, complemented by experience as a Commercial Manager at UGL and previously with Serco. Gareth began a career at Fenner Dunlop Australia as a Commercial Analyst and has held various positions including Accountant at FENNER PLC and Senior Associate at PwC. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Accountant designation from ICAEW and a degree in Modern History focused on the Cold War from the University of Hull.
