Gary Butcher

Gary Butcher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and workforce management sectors. A former Electronics Technician in the Royal Air Force, Gary contributed to ground radio installation, communications technology, and spacecraft operations from 1980 to 2003. Subsequently, Gary worked at Serco as a Workforce Management Business Partner and Contract Manager, focusing on optimizing service delivery and ensuring high-quality satellite communication services. Roles as Spacecraft Controller and Spacecraft Operations Manager further highlight a strong background in training and performance management within spacecraft operations. Gary holds a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute and a BA(Hons) in Leadership and Management from The Open University. Currently, Gary is retired, having transitioned from a successful career to focus on personal pursuits.
