Jared Thigpen is an Engineering Manager and Project Leader currently working at Serco on the AUKUS project. Previously, within Naval Reactors from 2007 to 2010, Jared held multiple roles, including Lead Engineer for the LOS ANGELES Class Primary Systems and Deputy Director of the Commissioned Submarine Systems Division. Jared also served as Senior Manager for Training and Technical Integration at The AES Corporation from 2023 to 2024. Currently, Jared is pursuing multiple advanced degrees at the Naval Postgraduate School and Penn State University, including a Master of Science in Engineering Science and an Executive MBA. Jared earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from Rice University.
