John Couttie

John Couttie is currently the Deputy Superintendent at Acacia Prison, where they oversee various operational aspects. Prior to this role, they held multiple positions in the correctional sector, including General Manager at both Wickham Point and Christmas Island. John began their career in the Royal Air Force, serving in the RAF Regiment from 1987 to 1994, before transitioning to the prison system as a Prison Officer at HMP Kilmarnock. They also have experience as a Branch Manager at First Stop Builders Merchants from 1994 to 2002.
