Michael Lock has a diverse background in environmental conservation and engineering, with experience spanning several organizations. Starting as a Media & Visibility Intern at The Climate Reality Project in 2015, Michael progressed to roles including Resource Conservation Technician at Juniata County Conservation District and Soil Conservation Technician at Anne Arundel Soil Conservation District. Michael further advanced at the Maryland Department of Agriculture as a Soil Conservation Associate III and then transitioned to a Systems Engineer position at Mayvin®, where tenure lasted from January 2022 to October 2023. Currently, Michael serves as Engineer III with Team Submarine at NAVSEA, having begun this role in October 2023. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science and Policy (Energy) from Penn State University, completed in 2015.
