Tim Barney is a seasoned Naval Ship Construction, Modernization, & Repair Program Manager with over 16 years of leadership experience, currently overseeing engineering and technical services for Serco’s Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation. They previously held key positions at BWX Technologies, Inc., U.S. Fleet Forces Command, and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, demonstrating proficiency in managing large multidisciplinary teams and executing substantial maintenance budgets. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, further solidifying their expertise in engineering and operations. Tim has hands-on experience in various capacities, from reactor officer on the USS Enterprise to senior mission director in Iraq, highlighting their versatile career in the naval sector.
