Tim Sharpe is a Master Mariner and Advanced Ice Navigation Specialist with extensive experience in maritime roles. They served as a Master Mariner at P&O Maritime Services from 2000 to 2012 and continued in similar roles as a freelancer from 2012 to 2021. Tim held positions at Swire Pacific Offshore and Lindblad National Geographic as a Chief Officer and Ice Pilot, respectively. They are currently the Chief Officer on the Australian Government Research Icebreaker RSV Nuyina at Serco since 2019. Tim earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Maritime Studies from the University of Tasmania's AMC Faculty, completing their degree in 2014.
