Valentyna Torres, M.Ed., has extensive experience in educational and training roles, currently serving as a Master Trainer and Senior Employment Navigator for the DOL VETS TAP Contract at Serco since September 2021. This position focuses on assisting service members and their spouses with their transition to civilian careers through various support services, including individual counseling, resume writing, and connecting them with resources. Prior experience includes roles as an ESOL Paraprofessional in the Muscogee County School District, a High School Social Studies Teacher in the Temple Independent School District, and various positions in human resources and educational settings. Valentyna holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University–Central Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American Studies from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
