Paul Wang

Co-Founder at Sercomm Corp

Paul Wang demonstrates over 40 years of experience in the technology industry and venture business and a vast understanding pertaining to the development of the high-tech industry. In context of the significant development in the wireless communications, Paul co-founded Sercomm Corporation with several high-tech experts in 1992 and has served the position of chairman ever since. Paul was named Honorary Chairman by the board, recognizing 30 years of dedication and steadfast chairmanship. In 2013, Paul received the “Pan Wen Yuan Prize”, the highest honor in technology industry. Paul also founded Pacific Venture Partners (PVP), one of the largest venture capital and private equity investment companies in the Asia Pacific region, in 1990. In addition, Paul served as Chairman of the Taiwan Venture Capital Association (TVCA) from 1997 to 2005. Prior to Sercomm and PVP, Paul served in a number of senior management positions during a twenty-year career at IBM. Paul holds a PhD and an MS degree in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BS degree in Physics from National Taiwan University.
