Serenity School Crawley is a specialist primary and secondary school for children and young people aged 5–18, and is part of Serenity Education Group.

We follow a therapeutic humanistic approach to education, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, SLCN, and complex learning difficulties, many of whom have experienced disrupted education or barriers to accessing traditional school settings.

Our purpose is to ensure that vulnerable children are able to remain in, or return to, full-time education as quickly as possible. We achieve this through a bespoke, three-tier curriculum model, ranging from nurture and semi-formal pathways to formal accredited learning, tailored to each pupil’s academic, emotional and developmental needs.

At Serenity, we recognise that wellbeing and emotional development are fundamental to learning. By addressing the root causes of behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, we enable pupils to develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of identity, allowing them to engage meaningfully with education and prepare for future pathways.

Our multidisciplinary staff team includes specialist teachers, support staff, therapists and pastoral professionals who work closely with families and external agencies. With small class sizes and high staff-to-student ratios, we provide a safe, inclusive and aspirational environment where every pupil is supported to make progress and achieve positive outcomes.
