Fei Lu is a Lead Humanoid Robotics Engineer at SF Motors, specializing in advanced robotics models and motion planning techniques, including Visual-Language-Action models and Reinforcement Learning methodologies. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning and Robotics Research Engineer at OffWorld, focusing on real-world robot applications, multi-modal sensing, and integrating vision models for mining operations. Fei contributed to robotics research at Bot Intelligent Group, CMU, developing algorithms for depth prediction and social navigation, and previously assisted in implementing advanced algorithms at the Mechanical and AI Lab, CMU. A degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics and Control was obtained from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA in Project Management is currently being pursued at USC Marshall School of Business.
