Heidi Johnson

Heidi Johnson is a trauma therapist with extensive experience in providing counseling services to vulnerable populations, including children and women affected by domestic violence. Currently employed at Serge since March 2022, Heidi offers essential support at a shelter and in the community, focusing on prevention and transition for children exiting institutional care. Previously, from March 2019 to February 2022, Heidi served as a trauma therapist at Kids Alive International, aiding girls rescued from sexual violence. Notable earlier roles include bilingual youth and family therapist at Wheaton Youth Outreach and clinical intern at Wheaton College, complemented by leadership experience as Division Director and Counselor at Camp Cedarbrook. Heidi holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cedarville University (2011-2014).
