Brian Sutherland is an experienced welding supervisor and pipeline welder who has been working with Serimax since 2001. They previously held roles as a welding supervisor and welder at Gulf Marine Piping from 1997 to 1999 and contributed to the Apachie II subsea pipelay vessel project in the North Sea. Sutherland started their career as a welder at Wood Group from 1984 to 1986 and has also worked on weld repairs at Emas Spoolbase in Texas between 2014 and 2016. They earned five O Levels from Golspie High School and are currently pursuing a four-year City & Guilds qualification at Inverness Technical College.
