Bita Vaezian

Bita Vaezian has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Bita began their career as a Process Engineer at Sazeh Consultants from December 2006 to February 2008. Bita then worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2009 to August 2010. Following that, they served as a Research Associate at Virginia Tech from December 2010 to September 2011. Bita then joined Micron Technology as a Process Engineer, specializing in Dry Etch, from August 2011 to December 2012. Bita furthered their career as a Visiting Instructional Specialist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2013 to May 2013. In the same year, they also joined ATSP Innovations as a Production Director from February 2013 to January 2016. During their tenure at Serionix, Inc., they held multiple roles, starting as a Senior Research Engineer from June 2015 to August 2018. Bita then transitioned to the role of Technical Project Manager from August 2018 to May 2021. Subsequently, they served as the Director of Technical, Supply Chain, and Operation Support from May 2021 to October 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Operations at Serionix, Inc. which they assumed in October 2021.

Bita Vaezian completed their education in chemical engineering and holds a B.S. degree from Iran University of Science and Technology, which they earned from 2000 to 2005. Bita then pursued an MS degree in chemical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Bita further enhanced their educational background by obtaining another MS degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 2009 to 2010.
