Simon Young

Simon Young currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering at Serko Ltd. since October 2023 and is also a Managing Partner at Phase One Ventures since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as VP of Engineering at Halter from April 2020 to July 2023, and as Chief Product & Technology Officer, Head of Product Development, and Head of Development at Trade Me from February 2011 to April 2020. Additionally, Simon Young was a Board Member at Capital Montessori School from June 2015 to March 2019, and served as IT Director at Investis from April 2008 to February 2011. Earlier in the career, roles included Development Manager at OLM Group Ltd and Technical Project Manager at eCOSM, where Simon Young was also a founder. Simon Young holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Canterbury.
