Per Åkerman

Per Åkerman is a Swedish business executive who currently serves as a member of the board and deputy chairman at SERNEKE. Per has over two decades of experience in the construction industry, having served as executive vice president at both Skanska Sweden and Skanska SA Poland.

Åkerman began their career with Skanska in 2001, when they were appointed executive vice president of Skanska SA Poland. In this role, they were responsible for the company's road, asphalt, bridge, hydro engineering, environmental, and railway construction operations throughout Poland. Under their leadership, Skanska SA Poland's annual sales grew from 250 MEUR to 2700 employees.

In 2013, Åkerman was appointed executive vice president of Skanska Sweden. Per held this position until 2018, when they left the company to join SERNEKE.

Per Åkerman has a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
