Sumit Deshmukh

Sumit Deshmukh started their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Mavericks dot com Pvt. Ltd., where they developed applications for the polymer industry. Over the years, they held various roles at Persistent Systems, including Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Senior Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Project Lead, and Member of Technical Staff. Sumit then worked at PierianDx as Head of Delivery and Vice President of Product Development. Sumit later joined Hoonartek as Vice President Delivery in 2022 and is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Serrala starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Sumit demonstrated expertise in software development, project management, and leadership roles.

Sumit Deshmukh holds a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completed in 1999. Sumit later pursued a Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) from C-DAC, ACTS, Bangalore, graduating in 2000. Sumit continued their education with a Master of Computer Science (MCS) from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completing the program in 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2013, Certified Lead Implementer Professional (CLIP) - ISO 27001 in 2018, and Internal Auditor for ISO 13485 : 2016 Medical Devices Quality Management System in 2021.
