Leen Muys has extensive experience in communication and education management, currently serving as the communicatieverantwoordelijke at the Sociaal-Economische Raad van Vlaanderen (SERV) since November 2009. Prior to this role, Leen worked as a persmedewerker at the Kabinet minister van Onderwijs Frank Vandenbroucke from February 2006 to July 2008 and held the position of Adjunct van de directeur at the Ministerie van Onderwijs en Vorming - Agentschap voor Onderwijscommunicatie from April 1999 to February 2006. Leen's career began as a stafmedewerker nationaal secretariaat at the Socialistische Vooruitziende Vrouwen (SVV) from January 1992 to April 1999. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in Bedrijfseconomie management voor overheidsorganisaties from Ghent University (2004-2009), a Bijzondere licentie in Cultuurmanagement from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (1989-1991), and a Licentiaat in de geschiedenis from Ghent University (1985-1989).
