Kevin Lim

Kevin Lim is a highly experienced and skilled software engineer with a strong background in various fields. Kevin currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Serve Robotics since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Uber as a Senior Software Engineer in Serve Robotics from December 2020 to March 2021. Before joining Uber, Kevin was a Senior Software Engineer at Postmates Inc., which was acquired by Uber, from October 2020 to December 2020.

Kevin has also worked as a Cloud Consultant at Sourced Group from July 2019 to October 2020. Kevin gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer at GroupBy Inc. from September 2017 to June 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Virtual Design Engineer at CIMCO Refrigeration from January 2016 to August 2017. Kevin's career includes a role as a System Analyst at Messier-Bugatti-Dowty from May 2013 to September 2014. Kevin began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they worked from May 2012 to September 2012. Kevin Lim completed their education at various institutions. Kevin attended Burnaby South Secondary School from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, they pursued a certificate program in T149 Mechanical Engineering Techniques (Fast Track), Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology at George Brown College in 2011.

Kevin then went on to pursue their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering. Kevin furthered their education at the University of Toronto by pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin Lim also obtained certifications in the field of data engineering and cloud architecture. In November 2019, they became a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, and in October 2019, they obtained the certification of Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect. These certifications were obtained through the Google Cloud Platform.
