Gene Martinez

Gene Martinez has extensive experience in critical facilities and operations, currently serving in this capacity at Serverfarm since October 2022. Previously, Gene held the position of Senior Data Technician at Blackbox Network Services and managed data center operations at CoreSite from September 2020 to December 2022. Gene also contributed to data center management and infrastructure build at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory between October 2016 and September 2018, focusing on smart hands technology and DCIM using NLYTE. Earlier experience includes serving as a data center technician at HCL Technologies, supporting Facebook's infrastructure across major data centers and colocation facilities in the Midwest and East Coast. Gene holds vocational certificates in Design and Visual Communications from LACC, obtained from 1998 to 2000.
