Zachary Smith

Zachary Smith is the co-founder and CEO of Datum and has over 20 years of experience in building automated infrastructure platforms. They previously co-founded Packet, which became a leader in bare metal compute automation and was acquired by Equinix, where Zachary served as the Head of Edge Infrastructure until June 2023. They have held various leadership roles, including board positions at organizations such as Tern Commerce, 1NCE, and the Open19 Foundation, while also investing in mission-driven founders through Humans of the Internet. Zachary is a double bass player and resides in Manhattan with their family.
