Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering and music education. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Lead Developer at Service Direct since 2010, Ryan specializes in developing and maintaining an online marketing platform that connects service companies with customers across the nation. In addition to engineering, Ryan has been a Music Teacher in Austin since 2008, focusing on helping students learn music from their personal preferences. Prior experience includes work as a Software Engineer at IBM, providing technical support for the Lotus Domino platform, and as a Teaching Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, where Ryan supported physics and engineering education for gifted students. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and Composition from The University of Texas at Austin.
