Mari Halonen

Mari Halonen has a decade of professional experience in various roles. In 2020, they began working as the Head of Partnerships at Serviceform, where they are responsible for global partnerships and building and maintaining strategic business relationships. Prior to that, they were an Account Manager at EF Education First in 2019, a Sales Account Manager at ISS Palvelut in 2017, a Language Center Director, Sales Manager, and Language Consultant at Berlitz from 2010 to 2017, an Administrative Assistant at REGIUS Enterprises Ltd. Consilium in 2009, a Cruise Coordinator at Kuoni Destination Management in 2008, an Administrative Intern at Management Events in 2008, and a Trainee at Visit Finland in 2007.

Mari Halonen began their education in 1998 when they attended Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu and earned their Matriculation in 2002. In 1999, they were an exchange student at Saint Joseph's Highschool in Hilo, Hawai'i. From 2003 to 2015, they attended Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, where they earned their Master of Arts with a major in Spanish language and minors in Tourism and Business Economics. In 2005 and 2006, they participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Universitat de Valencia, Spain, where they studied Tourism, French, and Italian Philology.
