ServiceSeeking.com.au has helped more than 4 million Australians get their jobs done. Over 200,000 SMEs have registered to quote on job. For many businesses, ServiceSeeking.com.au drives 100% of their new clients.

We are a disruptor. Traditionally, most people start with a Google search if they need something done; however, there are significant limitations to this method. Google does not allow you to search for ‘available’ businesses (how can it know?), cannot quote you a price on a job or offer the opportunity to speak to a real person online. Google does simple indexing based on keywords and phrases, and then lists results.

In 2007 we launched with one goal in mind: to automate local services and make the process of researching and hiring service providers (like plumbers, electricians, house painters and plumbers) seamless. To provide a method that is easier and and more efficient than a Google search. The vision was simple: to provide an alternative to clicking links through Google and calling a tradie to find that they are too busy, charge too much or don’t answer their phone. Enter ServiceSeeking.

In a recent survey of over 1700 website users, the majority answered that ServiceSeeking was significantly better than a Google Search. We believe our solution is working; with more than 4 million jobs posted through the website. We are changing local services for the better.

Looking forward, our hope is to keep making the task of getting jobs done easier for both customers and businesses. We want even more people to discover ServiceSeeking.com.au as the best way to get their tasks completed or find work for their business. Customers want their job done well and instantly, for the right price. They want to see reviews and they want to hire the right business with confidence. We’re are transforming the whole service economy and beating Google at its own game.
