Alex Wright

Alex Wright is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional with extensive experience in drug product development and technology transfer. Currently serving as Director/Head of Bio/Sterile Drug Product at Servier, Alex leads global teams for large molecule biosimilar programs and has been instrumental in advancing clinical manufacturing processes. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at Molecular Templates and Amgen, where responsibilities encompassed managing cross-functional teams for both live virus products and monoclonal antibodies, as well as overseeing critical studies for commercial manufacturing and validation. Alex's career commenced as a Process Engineer at Eli Lilly and Company, achieving significant cost reductions through process optimization. Alex holds a Ph.D. in Biomaterials Science from Duke University and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, complementing a strong foundation in the pharmaceutical industry.
