Gustavo Marco

Gustavo Marco is an experienced professional in the field of regulatory CMC, currently serving as the Global Head of Regulatory CMC at Servier since March 2023. Prior to this role, Gustavo held the position of Senior Director, Global CMC Regulatory at Orchard Therapeutics from March 2021 to March 2023, and served as Senior Director (acting) and Director of Global CMC Regulatory at GSK from July 2013 to February 2021. Gustavo contributed to academia as a Senior Honorary Lecturer in Quality by Design at De Montfort University between April 2012 and November 2020. Earlier experience includes roles at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency from March 2006 to June 2013, where Gustavo managed teams and reviewed new drugs and generics in various therapeutic areas. Additional positions were held as a locum pharmacist, Senior Scientist at 3M, and Scientist at Almirall. Gustavo's educational background includes a Post-Graduate Degree in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, an MSc in Industrial Pharmacy from CESIF, and a Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Valencia.
