Malek Okour

Malek Okour currently serves as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Servier since April 2022, following a managerial role in Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation at GSK from March 2016 to May 2022. Prior experience includes a teaching and research assistant position at the University of Minnesota from August 2012 to January 2016 and an internship at Merck in mid-2014. Malek also worked as a Resident Assistant at the University of Houston and as a lecturer in a private practice, teaching foundational biomedical subjects. Malek holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics from the University of Minnesota, a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Houston, and a BDS in Dentistry from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Key projects involve simulation with uncertainty and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling.
